Our classes are open to all levels. Please let your instructor know if you are new to class. Classes may also be offered in a 45 minute format. These are denoted as “Express” on the schedule.

Vinyasa Flow

Defined as intentionally connecting breath with movement, our vinyasa flow classes incorporate traditional asanas (poses) with pranayama (life force energy, or breath). You will move through a series of poses that are intentionally sequenced to realign the body, reset the nervous system, and settle the mind. Students can expect a variety of sequences and styles that will vary from teacher to teacher, but all classes will incorporate the overarching idea of breath-to-movement and end with savasana to seal your practice and leave you feeling balanced and at ease. This is an all-levels class; all teachers are knowledgeable on how to modify poses for new students or students with injuries, pregnancies, and special circumstances.

Power Flow / Heated Power Flow

Just like your traditional Vinyasa Flow, you will move through a series of poses intentionally sequenced to realign the body, reset the nervous system, and settle the mind. Power Yoga uniquely focuses on your own ability to move through discomfort and unfamiliarity. The “power” alludes to both your ability to unlock your physical strength, and your capacity to move past your own mental barriers. This is an all-levels class, as all teachers are knowledgeable on how to modify poses for new students or students with injuries, pregnancies, and special circumstances.

In Heated Power Flow, the studio is heated to 80 degrees.

Yoga Sculpt / Warm Yoga Sculpt

While still maintaining vinyasa roots, this class is built to give you a full body burn. Yoga Sculpt incorporates sculpting & toning exercises and metabolism-boosting cardio bursts. You’ll have the option to incorporate light weights (2-5 pound weights) throughout class, focusing on gaining additional strength training & endurance growth. Expect an extremely efficient, fun and invigorating workout for both body and mind, from head to toe. Weights are always optional, but encouraged for this class.

In Warm Yoga Sculpt, the studio is gently heated.

Flow & Restore

This class incorporates all the benefits of a Vinyasa Flow at a more easeful and accessible pace, “chaturangas optional,” say no more. Class begins with a gentle flow to get the body warmed up, and the second half of class consists of more restorative poses with the use of props and blankets. Restorative poses are held for 3-5 minutes to really let yourself settle into the posture while focusing on the breath and giving you more opportunities to tune into what’s happening within. This class is great for calming down the mind but still getting some healthy movement in the body on the days when you’re feeling sluggish. Expect a gentler, foundational flow that will leave you feeling at peace and balanced. This class is for all levels and is recommended for beginners.

Barre

Our barre classes are designed to empower your entire body - arms, thighs, glutes, and core. The focus of a barre class, which has stemmed from traditional ballet training, is to exhaust specific muscle groups and strengthen them through a series of small, precise, and repetitive exercises. These exercises are followed by an intentional sequence of stretches that target those same muscle groups to leave your muscles lean, and your body feeling stong and healthy. This is an all levels class. Class is taken barefoot or with grippy socks.

Strength & Sweat

This circuit style class incorporates strength training along with cardio to create one high impact workout. All major muscle groups will be targeted in incremental, intentional, and repetitive exercises. The class is broken down into several segments in order to build strength through the entire body as you make your way through a full body workout. HIIT (high-intensity interval training) rounds are often included with modification offered for anyone working with injuries or with special circumstances. This class is for all levels. Class is taken barefoot or with grippy socks.

Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates has all the benefits of using a reformer utilizing body weight and empowers you to tune into full body strength in a mindful way. This style is a low-impact muscle strengthening workout that can improve flexibility, mobility, and posture. You’ll use slow, controlled body weight movements to focus on stability and breath control. Each class will work to balance all muscle groups with an emphasis on engaging the core and syncing up the breath. The class is 45 minutes and ends with restorative stretch, relaxing breath and savasana. Beginner friendly, all levels welcome.
